Arizona still faces high unemployment

The unemployment rate in Arizona for the month of January was essentially unchanged at 9.2 percent – this following annual benchmarking which adjusted December 2009’s rate to 9.2 percent. The U.S. unemployment rate declined 0.3 points to 9.7 percent in January from 10 percent in December 2009.
