Paston to start in goal for Phoenix

Wellington Phoenix goalkeeper Mark Paston has been deemed fit for Friday’s A-League match away to Brisbane, but newly-signed shot-stopper Danny Vukovic will be challenging for the No.1 jersey.
The Phoenix added the highly-rated former Olyroo Vukovic to their goalkeeping unit this week after being left in the lurch when Turkish team Konyaspor terminated his newly signed three-year deal.

Windows Phoenix managed to fly only for a brief moment at Flugtag, a competition sponsored by Red Bull, designed to let flight enthusiast to build and attempt to fly their own machines off a 30-foot high flight deck.

Phoenix PD investigating early morning homicide

Phoenix police say a shooter remains at large after an argument escalated into a homicide early Friday outside a north Phoenix apartment complex.
Police say 20-year-old Arlandis West was involved in a verbal altercation with a gunman that became heated and led to the shooting.
Officers arrived and found the victim. West was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

AcaiPure Company Accused Of Fraud

A Phoenix, Arizona distributor of the popular acai berry weight-loss supplement has been shut down by the feds.
The Federal Trade Commission has halted the business and frozen the assets of Central Coast Nutraceuticals, alleging in a lawsuit the company scammed customers out of at least $30-million.
The FTC accuses the company of deceptively marketing AcaiPure as a “risk-free weight loss product,” when in reality it does not help with weight-loss.
FTC sues Ariz. company over acai pill free trials

The Federal Trade Commission says an Arizona company defrauded consumers who signed up for free trials of acai (ah-sah-EE’) berry weight-loss pills and colon cleansing supplements.
The agency said Monday in Chicago that it filed a lawsuit against Phoenix-based Central Coast Nutraceuticals.
Phoenix share spoils on a wet and wild night
